So called because there is an old milestone (right) on the side of the road (A533) alongside the field.

It is 3.38 h.a. and is in its 5th year.

The end 1/2 h.a. nearest to the farm is subject to subsidence due to the salt mining activites in our area.

This leads to wet patches which cannot carry the weight of a tractor. as a result of this we will be improving the drainage of the field over the next couple of years.
