WEATHER
July 2003
Home page
Welcome to our weather page. We had a small amount of rain in early July, but over 50mm during the last week giving the majority of the 71mm total for the month. However look at the temperature for the month. The 15th seeing a high of 31.5c this is hot for the UK. We actually loaded bales into the loft
above the cubical shed on the 13th it was hot under those tin roof
sheets. The rain at the end of the month has
come in time as we were just beginning to run out of grazing for the
cows but they are now on some nice lush grass.
From the table above the graph below shows the temperatures in a more understandable format for the eye to interpret.
Next up is our rainfall graph. The 71mm total hides the fact that for most of the month of July it was actually quite dry, being spoiled if you are sun fan, only in the last week. Our final graph summerises the rainfall for the year. Note that 2003 is only showing the total up to the end of July. Why not start your own weather station up either at school or home and compare your results to ours. we would be interested to see them. Well thats about it for now, we hope that you find this new section interesting and would be glad to hear any comments / ideas that you might have.
