Welcome to our weather section. A little wetter this month, with 51mm of rain falling. That said, as with last month it came in just 3 downpours so for much of the time September was actually quite dry.

It was also warm for the time of year with a maximum on the 16th of 25.9c. However the trend is now downwards, with night-time temperatures falling to a minimum of 3.7 on the 26th and 27th.

We have now past the Autumn equinox (on the 23rd) so night is now longer than day so falls the night-time temperature. Next month will probably see our first frost. More next month PHIL.
