The building on the left is known as the Cubical Shed.

It provides the winter accomodation for the cows.

The Cubicals are where the cows can lie down and rest.

 

It is basically divided into 3 sections as shown on the diagram below.

 

The Feeding Area gives them access to to the feeding passage where the food is put out for them everyday in the winter.

 

 

They are cleaned out with the scraper tractor (right) twice a day, and fresh bedding of fresh straw is put in every other day.
