THEME: The Gully.
This
part of the farm is virtually untouched as it is difficult to access
by man or cow due to the steep nature of the sides.
In
the spring it is carpeted with bluebells (right) and it also contains
our only patch of bracken on the farm.
It
is a wildlife haven and as I have said undisturbed. Our badger population
make their home in it (left), together with rabbits and foxes.
Here a magpie has built its nest in a
hawthorn tree.
