These are in the old stable and are a calf's first home until they are weaned off milk.

The are made from old pallets which give the calves contact with each other, but at the same time prevent the calves from sucking each other as this can cause problems such as disease and "hair balls".

Also it ensures that they all get an equal share of the food.

There are 6 pens each measuring approximately 2m by 1.5m.
