With just 58 millimeters of rain this has been one of our drier January's, at least since we started to keep our records.

We have had a nice selection of weather this month - sun, frost, hail, rain, snow, a touch of fog etc, well they say variety is the spice of life.

As you may know due to problems with our equipment, our reports on temperature were sadly and regretfully interrupted. to overcome these problems and add more information and interest to these pages it has been decided that we invest in a completely new system.

This will enable us to give a more detailed and accurate account of the weather here in sunny mid-cheshire with the possibility that in the not too distant future this page or at least the statistics on it can be updated in real time, (Any tips appreciated - webby)

Well thats about it for now, why not start your own weather station up either at school or home and compare your results to ours. we would be interested to see them.
