From this data Andrew was able to plot this graph of daily Max / Min temperatures for June.

As you can see on the whole the month was quite pleasant with one or two hot days (for us anything over 25 degrees Centigrade is Hot:-) with the hottest day being on the 21st at 27.8 degrees with the nighttime of the 20/21 being the coolest at 8.6 deg Centigrade.

It rained for the first 5 days of June giving 49mm and then it rained on the last 2 days with a further 23mm falling (22mm on the 29th) to give us a total of 72mm for the month Our wettest June yet.

The next graph summarizes the above...

Please note that 2003 only shows up to the end of June as its total.

Why not start your own weather station up either at school or home and compare your results to ours. we would be interested to see them.

Well that's about it for now, we hope that you find this new section interesting and would be glad to hear any comments / ideas that you might have.

More next month PHIL.
