Daily Maximum / Minimum temperatures for October 2004
in degrees Centigrade (Celsius)

You may have noted that I said above "we had yet to experience our first frost of the season at the farm" this is because the temperature sensor is up near the farm buildings. down in the middle meadow by the River Dane (approx 20 meters lower) the temperature dropped to -2°C on the 9th.

Why not start your own weather station up either at school or home and compare your results to ours. we would be interested to see them.

More next month PHIL.
